Joseph Zachary is a Design Innovation and Strategic Design postgraduate with a background in Industrial Design and Technology.
Born in Selangor, Malaysia, Joseph Zachary Chong is a Design Innovation and Strategic Design postgraduate with a background in Industrial Design and Technology. He draws inspiration from the various cultures and experiences in Asia where he grew up as an international student.
Between October 2021 and September 2022, He interned at Ponti Design Studio in Hong Kong, under the close mentorship of Andrea Ponti, and graduated from Loughborough University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design and Technology. Currently, he is furthering his studies at the postgraduate level at the University of Sydney and is set to graduate in 2026 with a Master’s of Design in Design Innovation and Strategic Design.
Joseph Zachary is an extremely passionate leader with a driven mindset for success. He thoroughly enjoys working in groups where motivation is high, and close collaboration is at the core of the project activity. He consistently aims to set himself high standards and believes that the dedication and commitment it takes to meet these standards are present in his academic life.
